Acadiana Humane Society has many more cats available then we have the time or volunteers to photograph and list here online. If you are looking for a particular color or breed cat, please email ahspets@gmail.com to see if we have that color or breed available. However, to be sure you and your family are matched up to the purrfect cat for you, the best thing to do is to download our prescreening application, fill it out, save it as a new file, and attach it to an email and send it to us. (Instructions are on the application, which can be downloaded from our website.) The answers you put on our application will help us to match you up with a cat with the right temperament and purrsonality for you and your family. Our regular cat adoption fee is $100.00 and all cats are already spayed or neutered, feline combo tested, examined and treated by our veterinarian, and received at least their first vaccinations. If it is time for their annual vaccinations, we will update their shots before finalizing the adoption.
